UCC has revealed the details and some of the teams that will compete in the qualifiers for the WESG Russia Dota 2 LAN finals.
The Russian qualifiers will have three stages:
1. Two open qualifiers
2. Closed qualifiers
3. LAN finals
The two open qualifiers will run on February 11 and 14, both featuring single-elimination best-of-one matches and best-of-three finals. The top team from each qualifier will then advance to the closed qualifiers. You can sign up for the open qualifiers here.
The closed qualifiers will run from February 15-21 where eight teams (six invited ones and two winners of the open qualifiers) will face off against each other in double-elimination best-of-three matches and a best-of-five final. The top team will then get to compete at the WESG Russia LAN finals for a ticket to the WESG global finals in China.
