Saksa knows how to win everyone, even the most experienced opponents. Together with team Digital Chaos, he took the second place at The International 2016. Martin is ready to share his experience to help HellRaisers in their first extra class tournament this year.
Hello, Saksa. It looks like you’ll be coaching a team at TI for the first time, and you’re only 22 years old! What do you feel?
I feel pretty excited, this is my first time coaching and I want to help these guys do good and hopefully we will be able to get some good results.
How did you become a coach of HellRaisers? Have you known any of the team members before?
After they qualified, Milan asked me if I was interested in coaching, and I had known him and swift for a while, so I thought it would be a good idea and I just went for it.
Do you see any weaknesses in the guys’ play?
Maybe that sometimes they are overaggressive and lack of experience, but those are pretty small issues and i wouldn't worry about them.
Is it possible to fix something in the team’s play within such a short period of time?
Yes, as long as everyone is working hard and willing to improve, anything is possible.
You surely remember the final of The international 2016 and the emotions you felt at the time. It was very difficult to cope with anxiety at such a big event. Do you think HellRaisers will manage to cope with such pressure?
I personally didn't really feel any anxiety, mostly I was just excited and really wanted to win and I think it's the same for these guys, so I think they will do fine in that regard.
Thank you for the responses. Good luck coaching the guys, any shout-outs?
I just want to give a shoutout to Planet Odd, these guys have been really good to us and I'm glad I had a chance to work with these people.
