HellRaisers [2:0] MIINLATE @bo3
(16:11 @cache, 16:12 @dust2)
On the first map HellRaisers started on the defense side, though the game did not go really well. Both teams were trying to find their rhythm, but as the result it turned into a long rounds exchange. The teams came to the side switching having the least different in score that was 8:7 in HellRaisers' favor. On the attack side HellRaisers did find their game and began to take the rounds rather confidently. However, the French team would not manage to build a strong defense — HellRaisers would always find gaps in every round and thus managed to end the first map with a victory.
Dust2 started rather hard for HellRaisers — the team lost a series of rounds. Nevertheless, the HellRaisers five had changed their mind in time and started to catch up with the rival — the second half started with a minimum score difference between the teams. Having taken the defense side, HellRaisers started to take a round by round and brought the situation to a match point, though after it they would not manage to take the decisive round for a long time. Eventually,
HellRaisers managed to brace up and get a victory in the battle, both on the second map and the entire match. Thus, HellRaisers make it into the eight teams, that will go to the LAN Finals of the tournament, which will take place in Bucharest at the end of this month. There they will have to decide who is the strongest, and in addition to this, to fight for the prize fund of 50,000 USA dollars, and, which is even more important, a slot into the qualifying stage of MLG Columbus Major.
Kirill «ANGE1» Karasiev's comment:
«I am very pleased with each of the boys. Playing 6 rounds of the single, losing the final, not giving up and getting through this path all over again do deserve respect. Now we can draw a deep breath and get ready for the minor in the best possible way. Thank everyone, who believe in us, we will not fail you».
