On the first map the rivals chose an opposite strategy for the game — HellRaisers decided to focus on pushing, while Team Spirit chose a calmer and more classic game. The beginning of the game ran completely under the orders of HellRaisers — they confidently seized the initiative and started to put pressure on the enemies. By the 15th minute Team Spirit had been losing every fight and, as a result, found themselves closed in their own base, but HellRaisers did not manage to end the game. Again and again TS would stop the attacks of the rival, and gradually they started to catch up with the enemy. Eventually, they managed not only to level the diagrams, but take the lead in gold — a try of HellRaisers to end the game in a fast way turned out to be unsuccessful, so there was nothing left, but to give up.
The second map was following the same plan: HellRaisers decided to push from the first minutes, while Team Spirit decided to play, placing a bet on the later stages of the game. The early stage of the game ran under the orders of our boys again, but HellRaisers faced an unbreakable obstacle — they did not manage to conquer the ramp of the rival. A few mistakes by HellRaisers let Team Spirit quite rapidly return into the game and level the situation. After that HellRaisers were not able to defend, and after a few minutes of weak defense Team Spirit got a victory on the second map.
Acting Dota 2 team manager, Anton «b-off» Borodov's comment:
«What a failure day. It is a pity that the boys did not look like themselves. If we had played at least on 80% as we did at training activities, I am sure we would have had victories. Probably, it is the matter of anxiety. But it cannot be an excuse on such a level. The boys have less than 24 hours to brace up and play as they are really able to. Simply, confidently and responsibly».
