HellRaisers [1:2]Elements Pro Gaming @bo3
Both teams started to attack right from the first minutes, and as a result, the first tens of kills were made rather rapidly. Also we could see 1 vs 1 kills, which doesn't happen often in games of such a level. During a long time it was not clear who was taking the lead in the game — neither Roshan nor fights would affect the strength of the teams. The situation became to clear up only at the twelfth minute — Elements Pro Gaming found their game and started to drive HellRaisers in their own base. Our five didn't manage to cope with the enemy, and after a few more lost fights, gave up.
The events on the second map went another way — HellRaisers at the draft period managed to seize the initiative and right from the first minutes started to destroy the rival. HellRaisers got a considerable advantage, having won all three lanes and strengthened it with a couple of successful gangs and quite a good push tactic. EPG tried to resist, though they needed more gold and exp to fight, and at that time it was not possible to get either of these things. Eventually, HellRaisers just came in attack on the middle lane, entered the rival's ramp and made the opponent give up.
The third and decisive map was remembered by quite uncommon, though interesting picks. By the tenth minute the game had been running relatively vapidly — only the first blood on the middle lane is worth mentioning, it was a result of both teams' mistakes. However, from the 10th to 20th minutes the teams were making a series of team fights, which ended up with a spectacular fight in the woods. That was the fight HellRaisers got the needed advantage in. Everything after that was slow, protracted, successful chasing Elements Pro Gaming out from the map. During almost 15 minutes HellRaisers were trying to force the game to a victory, but one failed fight put an end to all their plans — the final score of the map is 1:2 in Elements Pro Gaming's favor. HellRaisers take a beating in the first match and will continue their participation at the tournament in the lower bracket.
Acting Dota 2 team manager, Anton «b-off» Borodov's comment:
«The third map turned out to be crucial. At some point we managed to take the lead over the map, but calmed down and lost. It was not the best idea to compete with Tiny in farming. We will try to take out in the lower bracket.»
