A Ramp Smoke
There are many situations when you need to defend A Ramp. A smoke is usually thrown right from the plant, but If you need to do it as safely as possible or if you want to save nades for the A-site players, then the next grenade might come in handy, it's also easy to throw.
You can use a few grenades to smoke Connector while taking the middle of the map, but if you are in the middle of the map already, then you can use this sneaky grenade. Its advantage is that it opens inside Connector and that can be used in your favor.

"In the current meta on Mirage, a fast smoke into Window is very important. In this case the T-side players can rapidly take Mid and get an early control over the map. The smoke used to be thrown from the boxes on Mid, which were taken with another smoke thrown at the beginning of Short. Thus, the player in Window could throw a nade to the exit or wallbang.
Eventually, players decided to smoke Window right from the T spawn. The nade shown in the gif below is good because the player throwing it doesn't waste much time and can get to A Aps or Pit pretty fast. Thanks to the simplicity of this grenade, you can shift the timings and take the positions earlier while cutting the CT side players' push".
